Coming from the South:
Take Hwy 101 to Santa Barbara. Exit at Mission St. Turn to the right and follow Mission St. to its end. It will make a jog, but you want to stay on Mission St. which will dead-end at Roosevelt Elementary School. At the school turn left on to Laguna St. and go to the stop sign. This puts you directly in front of the Santa Barbara Mission. Turn right at that stop sign (Los Olivos St.). This street curves past the Mission. The second driveway past the mission is ours, marked by a large brown sign "St. Mary's Retreat House".
Coming from the North:
Follow the same directions, except that when you get off the freeway, turn left and pass under the freeway as you go up to Mission St.
If you are arriving by bus, train or plane a taxi will bring you to our door. Tell the taxi driver that your destination is next door to the Old Mission. If you are on a city bus, take the bus marked "Old Mission". The bus stop is just across the street from our property.
